My name is gudu-Kim, a painting artist who loves shoes and paints shoes.The shoes that appear in my work are personified of people. The objects represented in my work are not objects in the form of still lifes like Heidegger's theory, but are being reborn as objects with vitality as a person.For example, shoes are objects made of leather.I also often work on painting on leather.Based on these contents, leather is laid out on a canvas, and on the leather, the origin of the shoe, a new object, the shoe, is reinterpreted and expressed as a work.In other words, it is expressed as another living being, leaving the concept of shoes.With the theme of shoes, I start with a fairy tale that we commonly know, animal stories related to fashion, Illusion series, and stories like writing a diary ending a personal day. He continues his work through various series on social phenomena that exist.I have been working on art for over 20 years with the object of shoes.In the future, we will continue painting with shoes through various media and stories.Shoes are to me in a word,I can tell you with confidence that shoes are another color of joy that gives you a turning point in my life, for painting artist gudu-Kim.
