GM, my name is Dhiya Roslan from Borneo and I'm currently developing my branding into Letterhythm. Started off with Graffiti + Calligraphy since 2008. Artworks mostly consist of simple to hardcore handwritten calligraphy on papers to digital to canvas to woods to fabric and walls and now venturing into NFT. I'm a brand strategist and designer by day and calligrapher by night.
Practice:
Artworks consist of simple to hardcore handwritten calligraphy on papers to digital to canvas to woods to fabric and walls and now venturing into NFT. I want people to experience physical artwork and NFT together. I have done countless exhibitions and workshops to expose the young and old generations about Calligraffiti. Exploring the space to create multi-cultural inscriptions bridging Asian culture to western culture through contemporary writing called Calligraffiti as a new genre in the art scene. Most of my work consists of handwritten calligraffiti influenced by the letters in ancient scripts of Gothic, Aramaic, Arabic, Cyrillic, Sanskrit, Iban (native Borneo) scripts and others combined elements to form an artwork for the modern and traditional society.
