Shamin Sahrum and Nur Nadhrah co-founded No-To-Scale* as an architecture, art and design research platform looking into current issues and responding to them through the act of design. Providing a socio-political commentary through works published in both electronic and print format. Both of them obtained a MArch in Part 2 Architecture from the University of Greenwich, London with interests in curating and analog/digital fabrication. Shamin Sahrum is also actively involved in the Malaysian art scene. Nur Nadhrah has working experience in London as well as a First Runner Up recipient of the PAM Silver Medal Award for architectural graduates. Both of them are currently practicing as architects and design researchers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Practice:
No-To-Scale is a think thank studio designing possible futures and is currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. No-To-Scale studio's proposals come in a variety of medium such as collages, 1:1 mock-ups and writings. These proposals were designed to circulate ideas, thus utilising channels such as exhibitions, publications, the press and the internet. No-To-Scale works and writings may be viewed at notoscale.com.
