Radzi Kalong is an artist from Sarawak, Malaysia. UiTM graduate of the Diploma in Fine Arts (2017) and the Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in sculpture (2020). He has experimented with a variety of artistic techniques, including printmaking, sculpture, drawing, and painting. However, he is now more at ease with the mixed media technique. As an artist, he enjoys incorporating symbolism, metaphor, and personification into his artwork. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, including Waste to Art (The Secret of Waste), Gateway @ KLIA 2, Kuala Lumpur; Art Against AIDS, White Box Publikaion, Kuala Lumpur; and Art Against AIDS. International Miniprint Exhibition (Klimex), Segaris in Publika, Kuala Lumpur; The 10th Tun Abdul Razak Distinguished Lecture: Toxic Waste to Fine Art, Sime Darby Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
Practice:
Radzi's artwork consists of various techniques, varied media, and mediums. whether it is a digital or traditional tool. Some of his artwork is mixed media, which uses intaglio, collage, and charcoal on canvas.
