Rahim Unlu is a 33-years-old visual artist and filmmaker. After graduating Public Relations, he continued his career by making documentaries for various TV channels. In 2015, he won a funding from the Turkish Ministry of Culture for his first feature-length script, "Seventh Day". During this period, he continued to direct various advertising films. Including those, he has been working on visual transmedia projects. Nowadays he is writing his second feature-length screenplay "Nautilus".
Practice:
Rahim's work consists of narratives where his personal experiences are combined with myths, tales and futurism. He is interested in subjects such as psychoanalysis, post humanism, embodied cognition, Goddess culture and simulation theory. Currently, he is working on new trans media art projects and writing his second feature-length screenplay.
