I'm a half-Thai-Japanese multidisciplinary artist and also a transgender female who was born in Okinawa and raised in Thailand. Both cultures influenced my art style. I love Illustration, Japanese calligraphy, Textile, Music (singing/piano), Performance art, coding, and programming.
After finishing my bachelor's in Art History (Thai Art Major) in 2011, I obtained a Master's degree in Visual art and researched Japanese Woodcut Print-making in 2012-2015. In addition, I've been studying overseas as an exchange student in Australia, Sweden, and Germany during my college time.
During my career, I was 1 of 9 artists for Thailand Brand-new Artist 2013, selected from more than 2,000 candidates all over the country. Throughout the year, I have been exhibiting my work overseas, such as Setouchi Biennale 2013 and galleries mainly in Thailand and Japan.
My artwork mainly depicts the concept of Asian philosophy—the elements from Japanese Wood-cut printmaking, folklore, Manga, and eastern art style.
Practice:
My crypto art is mainly created with digital illustration. I started using art software for three years, transforming my physical art style into a digital format. My works combined the sense of Ukiyoe and modern manga through the girl character in a fantasy environment. My source of inspiration came from Japanese folklore, philosophy, and society.
